Conference: Genuine Conceptualism?

Speakers: Barry Barker, David Lamelas, Marlis Grüterich, Jan Dibbets and Lynda Morris.

Within the context of the current exhibition Genuine Conceptualism, Herbert Foundation organizes a conference on Wednesday 24 September, 2014.

Adding a question mark to the exhibitions title, the conference offers a chance to think further about the early years of Conceptual Art in the triangle of Northern Europe.

Building upon the perspectives as defined by Lynda Morris in her introduction to the publication Unconcealed: The International Network of Conceptual Artists by Sophie Richard (2011), and Genuine Conceptualism (Herbert Foundation, 2014), international key figures are invited to present their reflection on Conceptual Art.
