Visit: Open Dialogue
With guide Erlend
“We want to receive visitors in a way that enables an individual experience and promotes dialogue and discussion.” (Anton Herbert)
‘Open Dialogues’ is a series of monthly guided tours of the exhibition RED AND GREEN AND BLUE MORE OR LESS, works and documents of Lawrence Weiner, at Herbert Foundation – Loods.
During an Open Dialogue tour, one of our guides introduces visitors to the Lawrence Weiner’s work, leaving room for questions and dialogue. No reservation needed.
On Sunday 15 February at 4 p.m. the Open Dialogue will be led by guide Erlend:
“The fascinating aspect of Weiner’s oeuvre is that what we perceive in the exhibition is not the actual works themselves, but rather their time- and location-based materialisations. One of my favourites is WE’RE SHIPS AT SEA, NOT DUCKS ON A POND. It’s a work about freedom: the freedom of a ship crossing the oceans, contrasted with ducks swirling around a pond.”
